India registered a resounding victory over Pakistan in their first Super Fours clash of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Monday, September 11. The Men in Blue defeated Pakistan by a whopping margin of 228 runs with the help of a brilliant all-round performance.

Meanwhile, the channel which is broadcasting the tournament on television has started a unique way to analyse the play in which an expert comes and breaks down the play. But with the help of computer graphics, they have made it look like that the expert goes to pitch amidst the game. 

In a light-hearted moment that left cricket fans chuckling, a Pakistani supporter found himself at the centre of a comical mix-up during a match. Convinced that renowned cricket commentator Sanjay Manjrekar had invaded the pitch. As it turned out, what appeared to be Manjrekar on the field was nothing more than a well-executed VFX display.

The incident quickly went viral, with social media buzzing with amusement as cricket enthusiasts from all over shared a good laugh. The Pakistani fan was brutally trolled for his misunderstandings on social media. The incident is proof that the clash between the arch-rivals serves as a reminder that the world of cricket isn’t just about thrilling matches but also moments of lighthearted fun that unite fans across borders.

Talking about the match, Pakistan won the toss and invited the Indian team to put runs on the scoreboard. The decision backfired as the Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul batted brilliantly and amassed a monumental total of 356 runs in the first innings.

Chasing the target, Pakistani batters started horribly and never looked confident to chase the target. India’s veteran chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav destroyed Pakistan’s middle order and picked up 5 wickets while being economical. Pakistan were bowled out for just 128 runs and lost the match by 228 runs.
