Former Indian skipper and cricket legend MS Dhoni along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni has recently opened a film production company called ‘Dhoni Entertainment’. Under the production house, a recent South Indian film was released titled ‘Let’s Get Married’ or ‘LGM’ in short. Dhoni’s wife Sakshi is the backbone of the company while Dhoni himself is busy with his commitments in Cricket. He recently won the fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which equalled his record with Rohit Sharma and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Right after the IPL, MS Dhoni catered to his knee injury and underwent surgery in Mumbai. Following the surgery, the world cup-winner has been recovering in his home town Ranchi in Jharkhand. Even during the premier of the movie when fans asked his wife about Dhoni, she replied saying he is working hard on his recovery. Recently, an image of Dhoni in a tank top with a gym back in his hand went viral. The image is believed to be clicked in Ranchi after one of Dhoni’s workout sessions.

Will MS Dhoni make his silver screen debut under his own production?

The Indian cricket legend now owns his own production house. The question arises if fans can expect his acting debut soon. Talking of Deccan Chronicle, his wife Sakshi, opened up on the possibilities of MS Dhoni making his acting debut. She said, “If Mahi ever considers acting, he should look for an action thriller. He is not camera-shy. He has been appearing in commercials since 2006. If we decide to make a film with MS Dhoni as the protagonist, it will only be an entertaining action film.”

To be honest, Sakshi is not wrong here. MS Dhoni does pull off TV commercials with ease. He is among the few non-actor celebrities to have tremendous popularity often more than Bollywood actors. With the calm persona that he possesses, there is little doubt that MS Dhoni will nail his shot if he ever takes to the silver screen.
