Former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni will probably play his last Indian Premier League (IPL) season next year. However, the question remains, what will be next for him? It is unlikely that Dhoni will become a commentator or a coach. Interestingly, he recently opened his own movie production company and has already produced a Tamil movie named LGM.

Dhoni has been connected to the Indian film industry from the start so fans are speculating that he might become an actor in future. Meanwhile, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni recently opened up on the same and said it depends on the script if a good and exciting script comes to him he will surely think about it.

“If there’s something good, he may just do it. He has done a lot of advertisements. He is not camera-shy. He knows how to act. He has been acting in front of the camera since 2006. If there’s something really good on a slate, he could do it. If I had to choose for him, I’d do an action movie because he is always in action.” Sakshi was quoted as saying by Sportskeeda.

MS Dhoni helped CSK to win its 5th IPL title

Talking about Dhoni, he was last seen in action in the recently concluded IPL 2023. He also looked in great touch whenever he came to bat, however, he sustained a knee injury during the tournament but he continued to play all the matches despite being in pain. He got his surgery done after the conclusion of the cash-rich league.

Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their 5th IPL title after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final of the league. With this win, MS Dhoni has equalled the record of Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma of winning the IPL title 5 times. The legendary wicketkeeper-batter will be again seen in the 17th edition of the league as wanted to give a return gift to his fans who supported him immensely in the 6th edition.
