The Kapil Sharma gang is reuniting again after a successful run of Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. This time as The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix starting March 30. Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur will also be joining Kapil once again. The initial announcement was done with a short video of everyone discussing how to reveal the show with some light-hearted comedy.

Giving suggestions, Archana advises making an announcement globally across popular landmarks. Krushna stops her telling her it is an Indian show, so the reveal should be done in India only and advises Gateway of India. Rajiv then intervenes to take a shot at Sunil Grover, saying all the budget went on him, so they don’t have that option. Sunil Grover also made fun of his dispute with Kapil Sharma on a flight.

When Kiku Sharda suggests sky-writing, Grover responds, “Plane se dur hi rehte hai (let’s stay away from planes)”, pointing to the previous incident. The two of them, however, are once again on good terms.

Going the OTT route

Talking about the show, Kapil Sharma said, “Finding our new home at Netflix has been one of the best things to have happened to us. And like we mentioned previously as well, ‘Bas Ghar Badla Hai, Parivaar Nahi’.”

The show will be running every week on Saturday starting 30th March. Several fans are hyped more than ever to see everyone back. The teaser for the show and reunion was already announced last year and was already creating a building up among fans.

However, there are a few who are upset with the decision to bring the show to Netflix. The fans called out that several targeted audiences in rural areas will not be able to enjoy the show.
