Ghoomer actor Saiyami Kher impresses Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar with her bowling

Saiyami Kher has frequently stated her love of the sport of cricket and cited Sachin Tendulkar as her greatest inspiration. So much so that she watched him on television while growing up and learned how to play the sport. Later, she developed into a state-level cricket player. Everyone has praised Saiyami Kher’s serious and sincere performance as Anina, a young girl whose hopes are destroyed when she meets with an accident and goes on to become a paraplegic cricketer, in her most recent film, Ghoomer. Saiyami Kher has embodied cricket like no other.

The audience has responded favourably to this R Balki-directed tale about the triumph of humanity over adversity. The cricket god himself attended a screening that Saiyami sponsored, and he praised the movie on social media. After the film, he even asked Saiyami to demonstrate the Ghoomer bowling technique, which has since gained notoriety. As Saiyami left, Sachin was left speechless. “Saiyami seems really authentic,” he even said in praise of her performance. He adds, “She was remarkable in her comprehension of the character and passion of cricket.”

In the video that Saiyami shared on social media, she asks, “What is the one childhood fantasy you never believed would come true? Mine was to meet my role model, source of inspiration, and teacher one day. Watching him play this game has taught me so much about it. I skipped college so I could watch him play. In the North Stand, I’ve heard the loudest “Sachinnn Sachhhin” chant. Therefore, I struggle to articulate what this means to me. The list is infinite, including his 136 at Chennai, the Sharjah Storm, 241 at Sydney, and 98 against Pakistan.”

The actress further adds, “He brought me happiness and showed me how to fight, be passionate, never give up, work hard, and maintain my grounding. He unintentionally taught me how to live. My buddies teased me and said, “Ja ja, acting kar,” when I first started performing. Sachin will eventually see your movie, and that became my objective. to put forth a lot of effort and pray that the Master will one day inspect my work. The God of Cricket then occurred to watch a movie in which I play a cricket player. I was asked to demonstrate how I bowled the Ghoomer the God of Cricket. Dreams do come true, though. This area of my life is referred to as happiness.”
