From Hrithik Roshan to Katrina- Celebs at Jawan movie screening at Yash Raj Studio

On the eve of the film’s theatrical premiere, a special star-studded screening of Jawan movie was conducted at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studio. The first celebrity screening of Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film Jawan took place on Wednesday evening at Mumbai’s Yash Raj Studio. Along with Shah Rukh, celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Bhushan Kumar were present at the screening on the eve of the film’s theatrical premiere.

While numerous X (previously Twitter) users have been sharing reviews from special screenings of Jawan that they attended, the film’s inaugural showing took place on Wednesday evening. It was held at Yash Raj Studio, which is controlled by Aditya Chopra, who earlier this year bankrolled Shah Rukh’s previous release, Pathaan, through his banner Yash Raj Films.

Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham co-star, was seen arriving for the Jawan movie screening. He was seen waving at the photographers while wearing a black sweatshirt and a brown cap. Katrina Kaif, who co-starred with Shah Rukh in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, was also seen driving up to the screening. She was seen smiling for the photographers while wearing a grey shirt and dark eyeglasses. T-Series president Bhushan Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan himself were seen arriving for the Jawan screening, while only his car was seen at the site.

Jawan is an action thriller directed by Atlee that stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Ridhi Dogra, and Sunil Grover, among others. Deepika Padukone also makes a cameo appearance in the film. Anirudh Ravichander wrote the music. The film, produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, will be released on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on the occasion of Janmashtami.

Jawan’s first-day gross in India has also surpassed Pathaan’s opening-day advance booking of 32 crore. The film has already grossed 51.17 crores globally. Jawan has sold 3,91,000 seats through multiplexes alone. On Tuesday, it was claimed that the film had sold over 7 lakh tickets in India.
