Shah Rukh Khan visits Tirupati with Suhana & Nayanthara amidst Jawan Promotions

Before the September 7 premiere of Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is seeking blessings at one temple after another. With only a few days until Jawan’s release, Shah Rukh paid a visit to Tirupati’s Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple on Tuesday. Suhana Khan, his daughter, and Jawan co-star Nayanthara accompanied him. Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara’s husband, was also seen with them.

Images and videos of Shah Rukh from Tirupati have already gone viral after being shared on social media on Tuesday morning. Shah Rukh worshipped at the temple while dressed in a cream Mundu, a short kurta, and a matching stole with a gold border.

He gave flying kisses to the devotees outside the shrine and folded his palms in thanks. Suhana Khan, dressed in a white Salwar Kameez, held her father’s hand. Nayanthara and Vignesh also wore white attire to the temple visit.

Shah Rukh Khan will appear in the action film Jawan eight months after his hit film Paathan. Shah Rukh, who avoided the media prior to the release of Pathaan, has been promoting Jawan in full swing. After attending Jawan’s lavish audio launch and pre-release event in Chennai last Wednesday, the actor travelled to Dubai on August 31 to watch the trailer for the film at the Burj Khalifa.

Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra feature in Jawan, which is directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. It will be distributed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu theatres.

Jawan has generated so much anticipation that it is projected to become Shah Rukh’s second 100 crore opener of the year, behind Pathaan. Jawan might be another 1000 crore grosser for the star in the same year. The film is available in 2D and IMAX formats, with the most expensive ticket in Delhi reportedly being sold at Ambience Mall for a staggering 2400.
