Former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza has become a laughing stock post his bizarre comments on the Indian bowling. In the 33rd ODI World Cup game, India and Sri Lanka played each other in what supposedly was a mismatch between the two sides. In the game, the Lankan Lions won the toss and batted first. They were smacked for 357/8 with Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer getting massive half-centuries.

In reply, the 1996 winners lived the nightmare of the Asia Cup 2023 final a few months back. Apparently, in this game, the former champions were reduced to 29/8, staring down the 36 all-out inflicted on Canada by Sri Lanka. However, the tailenders managed to get the team to 55 runs, five more than the Asia Cup final.

Meanwhile, after the game, the former Pakistan player, Raza made some bizarre comments. “Indian bowlers are getting more seam and swing but the same doesn’t happen to other teams when they bowl to Indian batters. Apex Council is giving different balls to Team India when they come out to bowl. Even the Indian Cricket Board and the third umpire seem to be involved,” he said.

Mitchell McClenaghan calls out Hasan Raza’s statement

After the statement was made, a Twitter user posted a video of it. It got the attention of none other than the former New Zealand pacer. He urged for a mental health check-up of Raza.

“Narh is this for real? He realises everyone picks from the same box of balls after the toss hahaha if this isn’t satire i think there needs to be a full investigation into his mental health,” the former New Zealand left-arm pacer said.

Meanwhile, with this win, India has 14 points to their name and has qualified for the semis.
