Fateh’s Box Office Collection Sees Slight Rise on Day 5
Fateh, starring Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez, experienced a modest increase in box office collections on its fifth day. The film earned ₹1.60 crore on Makar Sankranti, improving from ₹95 lakh on Monday. This brings Fateh’s total domestic box office collection to ₹9.30 crore, nearing the ₹10 crore milestone.
The film opened with over ₹2 crore daily from Friday to Sunday but faced a decline on its first Monday. The Makar Sankranti festival contributed to the renewed audience interest, resulting in higher earnings on Tuesday. Despite this uptick, Fateh continues to face stiff competition from other releases, including the Hindi dubbed version of S Shankar’s Telugu action entertainer Game Changer and Bobby Kolli’s Telugu action drama Daaku Maharaaj. Upcoming releases like Kangana Ranaut’s period political thriller Emergency may also impact its box office performance.
Fateh focuses on the fight against cybercrime, inspired by real-life instances during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film has been lauded for its impressive action sequences. Sonu Sood, who marks his directorial debut with this film, expressed his desire to elevate action scenes in Bollywood to international standards. He stated that as a director, he aimed to bring high-quality action sequences to the movie.
As Fateh approaches the ₹10 crore mark, its performance in the coming days will determine its overall success. The film’s ability to attract audiences amid strong competition will be crucial for its sustained box office presence.
