Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg cage fight: Meta CEO spotted training with UFC stars

Mark Zuckerberg appears to be working out in the ring more often than he is acting as CEO of Meta. The multi-billionaire is frequently seen posting pictures of his MMA (mixed martial arts) and jiu-jitsu practice battles with his ring buddies. More recently, the Facebook creator was photographed posing beside Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, MMA fighters, while displaying his toned figure.

Adesanya shared the images on Instagram and the just-released Threads. Users initially believed the viral image was some sort of AI-generated image produced amid rumours that Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will engage in a cage fight. But it turned out to be a real image of Mark looking worked up and focused on “serious business.”

‘No fugazi with Mark- this is serious business’ – Israel Adesanya

“No fugazi with Mark- this is serious business”, the MMA star captioned the photos. While all of the pictures showed off Zuckerberg’s enjoyable session, several Thread users took advantage of the chance to mention the much-discussed “cage challenge” that Twitter CEO Elon Musk issued to Zuckerberg. “Are you guys doing it at the Colosseum or not?.. Elon won’t fight you after watching this… come Elon come… Are you ready? Or more practice needed…” users wrote.

The discussions took place after Zuckerberg accepted Musk’s challenge for a cage match. The likelihood of a real fight taking place in a real ring, though, was undoubtedly just talk. On their separate social media profiles, the two competitors were only trading insults. Despite this, Zuckerberg continues to stoke the debate by uploading pictures of himself working out and posing with his MMA friends to display his toned figure.

Regarding Zuckerberg’s passion for health and mixed martial arts, he once admitted on the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” that he started playing MMA in 2020 since it required continual concentration. The entrepreneur has since been spotted working out with experienced MMA competitors. Even the first few people to use Threads were Zuckerberg’s fighter friends, whom he even welcomed to the just-formed social networking platform that competes directly with Twitter. “It is a personal goal to create the best place for discussions around jiu-jitsu and MMA content. For visual content, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc will still be better, “Zuckerberg wrote in a Thread.
