Cristiano Ronaldo’s reply to fans chanting Lionel Messi’s name goes viral

Cristiano Ronaldo was furious at the fans in the stadium who chanted the name of Lionel Messi after the match between Al Nassr and Al Hilal. Ronaldo did not have a great game as a player. He had only one shot at target which was defended successfully by the goalkeeper. Apart from it, Ronaldo also bagged a yellow card for his move. 

After being awarded a free kick against him, the Portugal star kicked the ball in frustration. After having a rough day, Ronaldo was met by ‘Messi’ chants from the fans. It rubbed the salt to the wound of the star player who already had a bad time in the middle. As a result, Ronaldo made indecent gestures to the fans who were in the stadium to watch the match. 

It was as if he gestured “I am here, not Messi.” Al Hilal won the final of the Riyadh Cup 2024 against Al Nassr. Despite the presence of a star player like Ronaldo, they could not win the match. In the first half of the match, the duo of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Salem Aldawsari. Al Hilal held on to their lead for the rest of the match and beat Al Nassr 2-1 in the end. 

Undertaker makes an appearance in Riyadh Cup final

Before the match, the fans and the players in the stadium were entertained, as the former WWE Superstar, Undertaker, made a special entrance. The entire stadium was lit with fire and a moon that marked the iconic entrance of the former world champion. It had Ronaldo’s smile, who seemed to enjoy the presence of Undertaker in the stadium. 

After the match, Undertaker handed over the trophy to Al Hilal. After the match was over, Ronaldo heard the chants of ‘Messi’ in the middle. The fans have shared the video which has gone viral on the internet. The fans of Messi are not happy with the incident and have criticized the 39-year-old for the same. Ronaldo scored 20 goals and was involved in nine assists for Al Nassr in 18 matches in the Saudi League 2023-24.
