The nominations for the 96th edition of the Academy Awards for out in 2024. The movies that have been released in 2023 are recognized by the board in different departments. Some of the biggest blockbusters of the year have ended up getting nominated in various categories. It includes the likes of ‘Barbie’, ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and so on. These three movies have been loved by the audience.

‘Oppenheimer‘ leads the charts in the list of nominations with a total of 13 nominations. On the other hand, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ has received ten nominations. ‘Barbie’ has managed to get eight nominations. Apart from it, other movies like ‘American Fiction’, ‘Poor Things’, ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, ‘The Holdovers, ‘Maestro’, ‘The Zone of Interest’, ‘Past Lives’, ‘Nyad’, ‘Rustin’, and others have also been nominated.

‘Oppenheimer’, directed by Christopher Nolan, will be streaming from the 16th of February on Peacock and is available on Prime Video on a rental basis since the 22nd of November. ‘Poor Things’ has not yet reached the streaming platforms. ‘American Fiction’ is available for Pre-Order on Prime Video and Apple TV+. ‘Anatomy of a Fall’ is available for Rent/Purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV+. ‘The Holdovers’ is streaming online on Peacock. ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is available on Apple TV+.

‘Maestro’ is streaming on Netflix. ‘The Zone of Interest’ is not yet streaming. ‘Nyad’ is streaming on Netflix. ‘The Color Purple’ is available for Rent/Purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV+. ‘May December’, ‘American Symphony’, ‘Society of the Snow’, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, and ‘El Conde’ are streaming on Netflix respectively. ‘Flamin’ Hot’ is streaming on Hulu and Disney+. ‘Barbie‘, the highest grosser of 2023, is streaming on Max.

‘Napoleon’ is available for Rent/Purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV+. ‘The Creator’ will be available on Hulu. ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ will be streaming on Paramount+ from the 25th of January. ‘Godzilla minus One’ is not yet streaming. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3’ is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. ‘Golda’ is streaming on Showtime, Paramount+, and Hulu respectively.
