Naman Tiwari credits Jasprit Bumrah for his success
Talking to the media ahead of the huge final, Naman Tiwari praised Jasprit Bumrah. The young pacer said “Bumrah is a source of inspiration for us. I watch his bowling videos a lot. I have met him several times and talked to him about the mentality and skills of a bowler”
Naman Tiwari is a left-arm pacer with the ability to bowl with good pace and bounce. The pacer has impressed some of the former players during the tournament. Many have likened young Naman Tiwari to Mitchell Starc. “He explained a lot of things to me, which has been useful. He told me how to bowl accurate Yorkers, and I have worked a lot on that aspect after his advice. I have to work hard on bringing more aggression in my bowling” said Naman Tiwari.
Australia beat Pakistan by 1 wicket in an amazing game of cricket during the 2nd Semi-Finals on Thursday. The hopes of an India versus Pakistan final went up in smoke after the Kangaroos won.
The role of young Naman Tiwari becomes important for India to win the title. “I try to learn something from every bowler I like and try to understand and learn by watching Bumrah. I like Shoaib Akhtar’s speed, Dale Steyn’s swing, and Mitchell Starc’s aggression” the pacer signed off by saying. It is said to be a busy new few weeks for the world’s top-rated bowler. India and England are locked at 1-1 going into the 3rd game in Rajkot starting next Thursday. Rohit Sharma will hope Bumrah continues his good form and helps India win the series.
