A recent report suggests that the Bollywood superstar has engaged in discussions with Atlee regarding a potential Dabangg spin-off. Atlee is renowned for directing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

The meeting reportedly took place at Salman’s Galaxy Apartment residence in Mumbai, fueling speculations about the return of the iconic cop character, Chulbul Pandey, to the big screen. Sources reveal that Atlee is being considered for a significant role in the creative aspects of the Dabangg spin-off, although he may not helm the directorial responsibilities.

The collaborative project is rumoured to involve Arbaaz Khan, making it a potential co-production with Atlee and Salman Khan. While an offer has been extended, Atlee has yet to confirm his involvement. The insider information suggests that Salman and Arbaaz are keen on bringing a South Indian director to lead the Dabangg spin-off, envisioning the franchise’s expansion to a pan-India audience.
