Bollywood stars featuring Shah Rukh Khan give thunderous opening to WPL 2024

WPL 2024 got a thunderous start, thanks to a brilliant show put on by the Bollywood stars in the inaugural show. Many top actors and superstars from the industry lit up the inaugural ceremony with their dance performances in M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. The fans who were in the stadium witnessed a spectacle as there was a collaboration of movie stars with the sport.

The show began with the performance from Kartik Aaryan who represented Gujarat Giants. He performed some of his songs like ‘Hare Ram Hare Ram’ from ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. It was followed by a dance performance from Siddharth Malhotra who represented Delhi Capitals. The star actor performed some of his songs like ‘Kukkad’ from ‘Student of the Year’, ‘Kaala Chashma’ from ‘Baar baar dekho’, and so on.

Tiger Shroff was the third performer who represented RCB women. He danced to some of his popular songs like ‘Whistle Baja’ from ‘Heropanti’, ‘Jai jai shivshankar’ from ‘War’ and so on. It was followed by a performance from Varun Dhawan, who represented UP Warriorz. He danced to some of his songs like ‘Tera hero idhar hai’ from ‘Mai Tera Hero’ and so on.

To follow him was Shahid Kapoor, who represented Mumbai Indians women. He made a grand entrance with a bike to the background music of ‘Kabir Singh’. The star actor performed for some of the songs like ‘Nagada’ from ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Dhating naach’ from ‘Phata poster nikla hero’, and others. What followed was the much-awaited performance from Shah Rukh Khan, who had a grand welcome as well.

The Bollywood Badshah gave a grand welcome to the players and the fans. He then performed his songs like ‘Jhoome jo Pathan’ from ‘Pathan’, ‘Hum India waale’ from Happy New Year and so on. The Bollywood stars and the officials of the Indian Cricket Board then showed up for a group photo with the captains of the teams. Shah Rukh then posed with the captains featuring his iconic arms pose.
