In a now-deleted tweet, Indian cricketer Jaydev Unadkat labelled Ranbir Kapoor‘s ‘Animal’ as an “absolute disaster,” condemning its glorification of misogyny as “traditional masculinity.” He stressed the importance of social responsibility in entertainment and expressed disappointment in having spent three hours on what he deemed a pathetically made movie.

There is a thing called social responsibility even in the entertainment industry that one should never forget. Just feels bad that I wasted my 3 hours to watch such a pathetically made movie.”

Discussing Unadkat, the right-arm pacer is set to focus on the impending Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction, having been released by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) before the event. However, the likelihood of the bowler receiving any bids is high, given his less-than-impressive track record in the lucrative league.
