Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has never won a single championship in the Indian Premier League’s existence. Despite qualifying 3 times to play the final, the team is yet to bring home an IPL championship. The RCB team made it to the final game in 2009, 2011, and 2016 but only managed to be the runner-up.

Meanwhile, a video is getting viral on social media where RCB players can be seen lifting a trophy. However, it is clearly visible that the video is animated and it is also expected that the clip might be from a video game. However, fans took no time to react to the video and trolled RCB. Some fans said that they can win only in virtual games and never in reality.

RCB always had a star-studded squad

Talking about their performance in the 16th edition of the league, after their ninth game, RCB, who had five victories in the competition, appeared to be in a strong position to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs. However, they ended up acquiring the seventh position with a terrible net run rate and fading prospects of finishing in the top four.

Interestingly, RCB have consistently been a well-liked squad. They have put a lot of effort into increasing the value of their brand, frequently spending a lot of money on players who have been in demand at IPL auctions. As long as you know what you’re doing and have enough preparations in place to assemble the remainder of the squad, that is a good tactic.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have a history of having a presence of some great players and hoping for the best, from the trio of Chris Gayle-Virat Kohli-AB de Villiers to that of Faf du Plessis-Virat Kohli-Glenn Maxwell. Apart from them, they also have had a number of other great players in the form of Shane Watson and Yuvraj Singh in addition to the “big three,” but despite this, they have only occasionally come close to winning the IPL trophy.
