Are Kartik Aaryan and Tara Sutaria in a relationship? Aashiqui 3 director Anurag Basu clarifies casting rumors

Anurag Basu had confirmed earlier that Aryan was the lead for the movie.

Recently, rumours have been that Kartik is dating Tara. The reports suggest that it might be due to the fact that Tara might be starring opposite Kartik in Aashiqui 3. When asked about the same in an interview, Basu said that he has not finalized any actress for the female lead role yet.

“No, the female lead of the film has not been finalized yet. Everything out there is a speculation” said Anurag after being asked by media personnel. Further, Basu was specifically asked about the casting choice of Sutaria. Basu replied saying “No. No one has been finalized,” as he disclaimed all the reports suggesting the finalization of the female lead for the movie.
