Bailey gave insights about the difference like pitches and the way they react in the daytime and the nighttime. Bailey said that the impact of dew on the red soil pitch was not going to be much, compared to that of the black soil pitch at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.

“He answered back, we have played IPL & Bilateral series here a lot – red soil disintegrates but not black soil & it gets better under lights – no impact on the dew on red soil but black soil has a good turn in the afternoon & then it will be some concrete in night – this is our experience,” said Ashwin, as he revealed about Bailey’s analysis.
