69th National Film Award – From Alia Bhatt to Pankaj Tripathi, check out the full list of the winners!

At a press conference held by the Jury on Thursday at the National Media Centre in New Delhi, the 69th National Film Awards were revealed. Anurag Thakur, the Union I&B Minister, received the list of winners for the feature, non-feature, and best writing categories from the National Film Awards jury members. In total, 280 films in 28 different languages were submitted for the 2021 awards. There are 24 non-feature film categories, 31 features, and 3 for screenplays about films.

The 69th National Film Awards were presented at a lavish ceremony. For his role in the movie Pushpa, Allu Arjun received the Best Actor Award, and Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon both received the Best Actress Award for their respective roles in Gangubai Kathiawadia and Mimi. Rocketry, the Nambi Effect received the Best Feature Film Award. The Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration went to The Kashmir Files.

History:

In 1954, the National Film Awards debuted under the moniker “State Awards.” Only the best films in several regional languages were nominated for awards at that time. It began honoring the performers and crew members who worked on the films in 1967. Nargis was the first actor to receive the Best Actress Award for her work in Raat Aur Din, while Uttam Kumar received the Best Actor Award for his work with Antony Firingee in Chiriyakhana.
