Alia Bhatt reportedly to exit Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ starring Ranbir Kapoor
According to rumours, Alia Bhatt left Nitesh Tiwari’s rendition of the Hindu classic Ramayana. According to a Pinkvilla article, “Alia couldn’t participate in the production because of scheduling conflicts.” Her real-life spouse Ranbir Kapoor plays Ram in the movie, and Kannada actor Yash might portray Ravana. She was in negotiations to play Sita.
The start of the film’s shoot is reportedly being delayed as well. The production team is making sure to get all the details right, a source informed Pinkvilla. According to the insider, “In terms of casting, Alia Bhatt, who was contacted for the film, is no longer involved, although Ranbir Kapoor is still committed to playing Lord Ram. Due to scheduling conflicts, the partnership with the actress to play the goddess Sita did not work out.” according to the insider. Additionally, they mentioned that Yash was still involved with the project. There were earlier allegations that Yash had left the movie.
When questioned about the cast of his movie in July, Nitesh refused to confirm or deny the involvement of Ranbir, Alia, and Yash. He merely stated that the news will be released “very soon.” He had also mentioned the chance that the movie would “offend” some viewers.
Alia Bhatt will not portray as Sita:
He said, “My question is really quite simple. I consume the information I produce as well, so if I don’t end up offending myself, I have every confidence that I won’t end up offending anyone else.” He was commenting in light of the latest Ramayana adaption by Om Raut, Adipurush, and all the uproar it had caused.
Actor Kangana Ranaut previously responded to the casting of Ranbir and Yash in the film. Kangana wrote on Instagram, “Recently I heard news about another coming Bolly Ramayana. Where a skinny white rat (so-called actor) who desperately needs some sun tan and conscience is infamous for doing nasty underhand PR about almost everyone in the industry… known for womanising and drug addiction after desperately trying to prove himself Lord Shiva in a trilogy (which no one watched or want to make more parts of), he has now grown fancy to be Lord Rama.”
She continued, “However, a young southern superstar who is renowned for being self-made, a committed family man, and a traditionalist is offered to play Ravana… In addition, according to Valmiki Ji’s description. He looks more like Lord Rama in his complexion, demeanour, and facial features. This Kalyuga is what kind? No drug-addicted soy child with a pallid face should portray Lord Rama. Jai Shri Ram. Sita: The Incarnation, a movie about the Ramayana, will star Kangana.”
