Former South African and Royal Challengers Bangalore legend AB De Villiers was in conversation with Yuzvendra Chahal. The two former IPL teammates were seen having a chat with each other on the South African’s official YouTube channel.

Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal came up with an invite to AB De Villiers to make an IPL comeback. The 33-year-old also told the former legendary batter to play for Rajasthan Royals a team which Chahal is part of. The conversation with Chahal playfully asked AB De Villiers asking if he could play one more season.

Answering the question, ABD asked “Do you think I have one more season in me? To which Chahal replied, “Yeah, Definitely, you can come to Rajasthan now”. The answer drew laughter from both sides as Chahal knows the loyalty AB De Villiers has toward RCB.

The next statement from AB De Villiers though has raised the hopes of fans a little bit. “You, Know I was playing with the kids in the nets yesterday and I picked up those small bats that came up to my knee. But I hit a couple in the middle of the bat and I felt, maybe I should hit a couple of balls and have a feel for it again.”

Not one to be outdone, Yuzvendra Chahal had the last word when he said “Even at 50-60, you can hit sixes. There is no doubt in that”. The lanky spinner is currently in South Africa for the three-match ODI series. Team India holds a 1-0 lead ahead of the second game in Gqeberha to be played on Tuesday.
