Kangna u disappoint fan 👎🏻👎🏻— Ex. Capt 🇮🇳 (@Yadavcasm) September 23, 2023
The trailer commences with the prequel story and then continues to the haunting and terrifying tale of Chandramukhi in the village. The trailer connects past and present and also introduces Raghav Lawrence with much swag. The trailer sets the tone of the film with lots of comedy scenes, horror shots, and action sequences.
Let us tell you, Kangana hasn’t made her full-length appearance in the trailer. However, it is established that she is a beautiful court dancer Chandramukhi. The King has his eyes on her and she is his favorite. Raghava looks very promising playing the role of King Vettiyan. The trailer takes the audience back to the OG Bhool Bhulaiayaa (2007) and its plot from the Tamil movie Chandramukhi starring Thalaiva Rajinikanth.
Taking it to her official Instagram handle, Kangana dropped the trailer and captioned the post as “Here’s the trailer of #chandramukhi2 Releasing on 28th September.” Earlier, it was said that the film would be released in the theatres on September 15. However, due to technicalities, the movie got delayed to 28th September. The film is directed by P Vasu and is produced under Lyca Productions and Subaskaran. Preparing for the film, Kangana was religiously seen taking dance classes for the role. She will be next seen in Tejas.
