Looking at the nature of the wicket, the former England cricketer tweeted “England bat. 450/9 declared today?” The star batter’s prediction was going well at one stage as the openers of the visiting side helped the side with a good start of 55 runs without losing a wicket for the first 11 overs or so. What followed it was the domination of the Indian spinners.

The likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel claimed the wickets for fun in their spells. The spin trio was brilliant and gave no room for the batters from the visiting side. From 55/0 at one stage, England are reduced to 215/8 at the end of the second session. Even Bumrah claimed the wicket of Rehan Ahmed with a disguised slower cutter.
