The social media have been abuzz ever since the fans witnessed a heated argument between India’s 2 former cricketers Gautam Gambhir and S Sreesanth during the eliminator match between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants of the ongoing Legends League Cricket 2023 at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Sural on December 6.

The match ended up with the Capitals defeating the Giants by 12 runs in a high-scoring thriller. However, the highlight of the match was the fight between Gambhir and Sreesanth. After the conclusion of the match, Sreesanth posted a video on his social media account and revealed that he was constantly being poked by Gambhir without any reason.

“Just wanted to clear the air with what happened with Mr. Fighter. One who always fights with all his colleagues. For no reason whatsoever. He does not even respect his senior players, including Viru Bhai. That’s exactly what happened today. Without any provocation, he just kept on calling me something which was very rude which shouldn’t have been said by Mr. Gautam Gambhir,” Sreesanth was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

He called me a FIXER, Fu*k off you Fixer: Sreesanth

Gambhir also opened up on it and posted a picture of himself with a caption which says, “Smile when the world is all about attention.” It’d be interesting to see if Gambhir vocally addresses the situation as Sreesanth again talked about it during his recent Instagram live. The former Indian bowler revealed that Gambhir crossed the line and called him a ‘fixer’ as the bowler was accused of spot-fixing in 2013 during an IPL match.

Watch the video here:

“He kept on calling me on live television, on the centre of the wicket, ‘FIXER, You are a FIXER, Fu*k off you Fixer. I haven’t used a single bad word, or abusive word at him. I have only said what are you saying and instead, I kept on laughing.” he said during the Instagram live.
