WWE – Five opponents that might lock horns with Logan Paul

Recently, WWE wrestler Logan Paul defeated Ricochet in the Summerslam 2023 opening game. The former won the game with the help of brass knuckles he received from his manager. This win means that his poor win-loss ratio improved a bit to 3-7 in the WWE. Paul’s previous wins came in The Miz against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. His second win was against the A-Lister himself at SummerSlam 2022.

The social media star is expected to take a break following his win. The renowned YouTuber may return in an event such as Crown Jewel. If this is true, let’s have a look at five opponents he might face in his comeback.

  1. Seth Rollins

Rollins and Paul had a great game in Wrestlemania 38. The former, also known as The Maverick, had an interview with the Visionary (Seth Rollins) and teased going after Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Triple H, the former player and now Chief content officer, might book the duo for the same. A few months back, Paul was promised a title win when he re-signed with the sports and entertainment juggernaut. He could go after the holder of the title, Rollins.

2. LA Knight

Knight and Paul have locked horns before. They were part Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the namesake premium live event on July 1, 2023. At this point, the Knight doesn’t have an opponent which gives a great opportunity to bring in Paul for the organisers.

3. John Cena

The veteran is yet to play a game after Wrestlemania 39. On the other hand, Paul revealed that he texted Triple H. The former said that he asked a game to be booked against Cena. However, the game didn’t happen but that doesn’t mean it will never happen again. It will all depend on Cena taking a break from Hollywood projects.

4. Rey Mysterio

The veteran has been looking for a game since recovering from injury. They could kick off a program as soon as Mysterio returns from his injury. Though he’d have to finish his storyline with Escobar first.

5. Edge

He will celebrate his 25 years in the WWE in the near future. Edge will appear live on the August 18, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown in his hometown of Canada to celebrate his legendary career.

WWE could use this opportunity to set up a feud between the Hall of Famer and Logan Paul. Edge is in the twilight of his career, and he could help put over Paul by squaring off him in a retirement match.
