The most anticipated India vs Pakistan game in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 will be played on October 14. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, only the second game of the ongoing tournament. Meanwhile, talking about the scenario of rain delay or washout, there is no reserve day for the game. Apparently, there is no gap during the ongoing tournament.

During the Asia Cup 2023, India and Pakistan match in the Super Four had a reserve day. Apparently, there was a gap for a day before the Men In Blue’s next game against Sri Lanka. As it turned out, the INDO-PAK match was shifted to the reserve day due to rain. In that game, India beat Pakistan by a record 228 runs and scored 356/2, a record total.

Talking about the upcoming game, there is less chance of rain as per the weather reports. However, if the rain arrives surprisingly, both teams need to play 20 overs each that will bring about a result. If this is not possible, both teams will move on to their respective next games of the tournament.

India has an unbeaten record against Pakistan in ODI World Cups

Both teams started playing against each other in the 1992 World Cup, won by Pakistan. Since then, the Men In Blue have always won against their Asian rivals. In the 1999 event, both teams played against each other during the Kargil War, the only time they played against each other during the INDO-PAK war. During the 2011 event, they played their first knockout game in ODI WCs.
