Which footballer got a Rolls Royce as Christmas gift?

Christmas is a time for giving.

A footballer, we all know, certainly got more than he bargained for this Christmas.

Well, we are talking of none other than Cristiano Ronaldo!

His contract was terminated by Manchester United about a month ago, but that hasn’t dampened the Christmas spirit at his house.

In fact, Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez made it a Christmas to remember for the star player by gifting him a Rolls Royce!

She posted a video on Instagram, where a brand new Rolls-Royce was wrapped by a huge ribbon.

Ronaldo was left amazed seeing what his partner had got for him.

The Portuguese footballer even took to Instagram, posting a story with a picture of the luxury car and a message for his lady love.

“Thank you, my love,” Ronaldo said in reply, thanking his partner.

The car is the fabled Rolls Royce Phantom, which is valued around INR 2.50 crores.

While the gift is welcome, what Ronaldo will be craving for is a new club.

Some reports suggested that he was close to joining Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr, but he 37-year-old publicly denied reaching an agreement with the club.

Ronaldo didn’t have the best of campaign with Portugal in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

After starting all of United’s group-stage games, the veteran forward was left on the bench for the Round of 16 and quarter-final matches.
