WATCH: Virat Kohli shows off his dance moves on Nepali song during IND vs NEP Asia Cup 2023 encounter
Team India and Nepal are locking horns in the final Group A encounter of Asia Cup 2023 at Kandy, Sri Lanka. As such, star India batter Virat Kohli was seen having some fun on the field. He showed off his audacious dance moves to a Nepali song being played at the stadium. The video of him dancing on the field went viral in no time.
Notably, this is not the first time Virat Kohli was seen dancing on the field. The talismanic batter does it more often than not. He was also seen dancing to the Oscar-winning song, ‘Natu Natu’ recently. The ongoing game is a must-win for India following the rain washout of their opening game against Pakistan.

‘We have made plans to tackle Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’ – Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel
Interestingly, the influence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also caught the Nepal skipper Rohit Paudel. Speaking at a press conference ahead of the game, Paudel did recognise the greatness of these two Indian stalwarts. He said, “Virat and Rohit have been the stars of their country for over ten years. We have made plans to tackle them and hopefully, we will execute them tomorrow. Virat is an inspiration for all of us, not only for his work ethic but also his discipline, on and off the field.”
“Our players have been working really hard for two or three years. That is why we are here. For the last two or three generations, our seniors tried a lot (for big opportunities), and we got this opportunity to play. We want to represent them in the match. But on the field, it will be a game that both of us will be wanting to win,” he added, speaking on the clash. Notably, Nepal lost their opening encounter in the Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan by a massive margin of 238 runs. This is the first-ever Asia Cup campaign for the landlocked nation.
