Meanwhile, a video is getting viral on social media featuring Team India’s star and senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, travelling together in the same car. While the video’s origin is unclear, it brings heartwarming joy to Indian fans. India will next face the defending champions, England, in their upcoming match in Lucknow. However, there is a lot of time for the contest as it will take place on October 29. India have been rolling high on confidence after winning 5 out of 5 matches in the tournament. On the other hand, the Three Lions have struggled in the tournament thus far and will face a formidable challenge against the in-form Indian side.

Rohit Sharma heaped praise on Virat Kohli

Coming back to Kohli and Rohit, the Indian captain lauded the modern-day great for his match-winning performance of 95 runs against New Zealand. He expressed that there’s little left to be said about Kohli, who has consistently secured victories for India over the years.

“At one stage, we were looking at 300 plus. Credit to our bowlers at the back end. I am enjoying my batting. Both are different personalities, but we (Him and Gill) complement each other. Happy that we won. There’s not much to say. He (Kohli) has done this for us so many years. He backed himself to do the job. Kohli and Jadeja pulled us back when we lost a few wickets in the middle,”
