Team India are gearing up for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Following their assignments in the West Indies and Ireland, the Asia Cup 2023 is the next item on Team India’s checklist. They’ll be aiming to win the coveted continental championship that starts on August 30 in Multan, Pakistan. The hosts Pakistan and Nepal will be locking horns in the opener while Team India open their campaign against Pakistan on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

As such, Team India are having a training camp in the Alur grounds of Bengaluru. Ahead of the continental championship, all cricketers have been put on a strict fitness programme with lifestyle and dietary changes. Players also had to pass the high-intensity Yo-Yo Test to satisfy the Board about their fitness levels. However, few players were exempted from the Test due to recent series or return from injuries. As such, a video of Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja batting together in their practice camp at Alur went viral on social media. The duo can be seen comfortably rotating strikes and getting into a groove before the coveted tournament.
