WATCH: Steve Smith given out LBW by small margin against Pakistan in first Test

In the ongoing Day Four of the first Test between Australia and Pakistan, the home team started the day with 84/2 in 33 overs. In the fourth over of the day, a dramatic LBW took place. Vice-captain Steve Smith was trapped by debutant Khurram Shahzad. The former took a review as he was given out. As shown in the replay, the ball was kissing the bails as shown in the ball tracker.

Talking about the match, the Aussies won the toss and elected to bat first. David Warner, playing his last Test series, scored 160 runs while all-rounder Mitchell Marsh missed out on his hundred by 10 runs. Thanks to them, the team amassed 487 all-out. In reply, the Asian side managed only 271 runs, with Imam-ul-Haq being the only one to score a fifty. After the first innings, leading by 216 runs, the World Test Championship holders decided to bowl again.

In the second innings, at the time of writing, the home team has amassed 186/4 and leading by 402 runs before going into Lunch Break. Five sessions are left in the game and it will be interesting to see whether the home side will declare their innings right away. They might also keep on playing and increase the already fat lead. For the Pakistan side, Aamir Jamal, who made his debut, took six wickets in the first innings. For the first time in many years, a Pakistani bowler has taken five or more wickets.
