WATCH: Shahid Afridi engages in fun chat with Bollywood actors ahead of Asia Cup 2023

With the 2023 Asia Cup just hours away, fans are eagerly waiting to witness the high-octane clash between India and Pakistan on September 2 in Kandy. The India-Pakistan encounter has always been a bitter rivalry as the two countries now only face each other in major multi-national tournaments.

While the upcoming competition between the two arch-rivals promises to be exciting and spicy, fans on social media witnessed a heartwarming gesture that showed Bollywood and cricket uniting the two nations. Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi took to his Instagram handle to share a video of his funny interaction with Bollywood actors Sohail Khan and Aftab Shivdasani at the airport.

The legendary all-rounder was in the United States as part of franchise cricket leagues, GT20 Canada and US Masters T10. In the video, Afridi and the two actors can be seen having some hilarious conversations. Netizens really loved the gestures between the celebrities from their respective countries, especially considering the fact that the two sides are going to lock horns in a few days.

“Have been on the road between Canada for GT20 Canada and the USA for US Masters T10 and multiple charity events for the Shahid Afridi Foundation past 40 days. I miss Pakistan. One thing is for sure, Nothing unites people more than sports, especially cricket. Love this game,” Afridi captioned the video.
