Indian cricket team regular skipper and opener Rohit Sharma will be back in the squad for the 3rd and final match of the 3-match ODI series against Australia. He was rested for the first 2 matches along with Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj. The contest will take place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajko on Wednesday, September 27.

Meanwhile, Rohit was spotted practising for the final clash at the venue on Tuesday. Interestingly, a video is getting viral on social media in which Rohit joined his former teammates Amit Mishra and Abhishek Nayar for a little chat after the practice session. In the clip, Rohit can be seen pulling Amit’s legs by asking, “Why are your eyes so red?” To which Mishra replied, “I have slept only three hours.”

The right-handed batter, who is known for humorous statements, teased Amit and said, “What commitment, I am impressed. You didn’t have that much commitment when you were out in the field. You didn’t play for me,” he added.

Amit was also in a fun mood as he replied, “You didn’t pick me, What can I do.”

I am bound to feel good when you guys are on the field: Rohit Sharma

Jokes aside, the veteran leg–spinner also asked about Rohit’s health and fitness. To which Rohit replied that he was feeling good as his old teammates like Amit and Abhishek are on the ground. Rohit also said that his body is also doing great. He then said goodbye to both the players and said that he would meet them after the practice.

“Feeling toh acha hai. Jab aap log ground pe ho toh feeling toh badhiya hi hai (I’m feeling good. In fact I am bound to feel good when you guys are on the field). Body wody sab badhiya hai (My body is feeling good). Milte hai practice ke baad (We will meet after practice),” he said while bidding goodbye.
