WATCH: Rohit Sharma imitates his team India mates during Indian Cricket Board award show
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are probably the best duo for India of this generation. The duo was the highest and second-highest run scorer in the ODI World Cup 2023. The former was named as the Player of the Tournament as well. They are often seen teasing each other and having a good time on the field. Kohli is currently out from the first two Test against England due to personal reasons.
Recently a video of the team India captain has been viral hilariously imitating teammate Virat Kohli’s aggressive on-field celebration during the recently held Indian Cricket Board awards has gone viral on social media. In a video from the event that’s winning the internet, Rohit is sportingly seen imitating his teammates and some of their famous habits on and off the field.
Starting with his iconic pull shot, he tried to mimic Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling movement and Suryakumar Yadav’s supra shot before making a comical impression of Kohli celebrating a wicket in his aggressive mode. He also came up with former India captain MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot and was also seen taking a bow like Shubman Gill before concluding his act with his version of Sachin Tendulkar’s upper cut.

You can’t change the past: Rohit Sharma
He is currently playing the 1st Test against England and scored 24 runs as India posted 436 in reply to the visitors’ 246 runs. The 36-year-old batter ahead of the test said, “The last three years have been great. Except for winning the finals of major trophies, we have won everything. That’s one thing we’ve not been able to accomplish, but I think the time will come. All we need to do is stay in a good mindset, and not worry too much about the past, because you can’t change the past.”
Three India batters Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja scored in the 80s as all three batters failed to reach the triple-figure mark. Though in the tough spinning conditions, India have a lead of 190 runs.
