Rinku Singh is one of the upcoming stars of Indian cricket. The UP-born batter has been in sensational form in the white-ball format for the Men in Blue side after his brilliant first-class form. His amazing journey began with very tough beginnings in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Rinku’s rise from the toughest situations to cricket stardom is an example of his tenacity and determination. He made his international in the series against Ireland.

Since his debut, the 26-year-old batter has never taken aback and has been performing the roles he has been given whether playing anchor when the wickets have fallen and finishing the games whenever required. He recently starred in India’s white-ball series against Afghanistan at home and against South Africa in South Africa. The cricketer is currently participating for Uttar Pradesh in the 2024 Ranji Trophy season.

Even though the batter has achieved unmatched success for Team India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in international and Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket, his father Khanchandra Singh was recently spotted delivering LPG cylinders.

Here’s the video:

Khanchandra refuses to leave his LPG delivery job

His father, Khanchandra lives by the same principles and continues to follow the same life path that has helped his son become a household figure. Khanchandra, who raised his son while working for an LPG distribution firm, was recently seen undertaking heavy lifting while carrying cylinders.

Previously in an event, Rinku revealed that his father still delivers cylinders despite a secure background. He said, “I told my father to relax now as we have enough for him not to haul cylinders, but he still does it and loves his job. I understand his part also because he will get bored if he sits at home. If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants it.”

After the home season, he will be featured in the IPL for the KKR where he starred the last season scoring 474 runs in 14 innings, which included three half-centuries and played some match-winning knocks for the side as well.
