With their cake-cutting ceremony complete, the team head to Chennai, where they will face one of the world’s best teams in their quest for World Cup glory. The fans eagerly await the action on the field, hoping that this cake-cutting moment becomes a good luck charm to a triumphant World Cup campaign for their beloved cricketing heroes. However, it’d be interesting to see how well the Men in Blue will perform as they didn’t get to play in either of their 2 warm-up games which were washed out due to rain.

However, India played a 3-match ODI series against the Kangaroos where they defeated them 2-1. But their key players didn’t play the first 2 matches of the series which can affect their performance in the upcoming major tournament. Fans are also waiting for India’s much-awaited clash against Pakistan which will take place on October 14.
