Akash Ambani reacted to the fans asking for Rohit Sharma’s return. In the IPL Auction 2024 arena in Dubai, the fans were allowed for the first time to take part in the auction as an audience. In the event, there were fans of many teams who had arrived to witness the new players of their squad for the 2024 edition of the biggest cricket league.

During the event, a fan shouted at Akash Ambani and asked him to bring back Rohit Sharma. “Rohit Sharma ko waapas bulaao” asked a fan to Akash. The reply of Akash won the hearts of the MI fans. Akash replied saying “Chinta mat karo wo batting karega” which won the hearts of the fans. The discussion on the same was done by some of the fans on MI TV, the official channel of the team.

MI performed well in the auction of the 2024 season. They have some of the exciting pacers who are emerging in world cricket like Nuwan Thushara, Gerald Coetzee, and Dilshan Madushanka. They also have some other good players like Shreyas Gopal, Mohammad Nabi, Naman Dhir, and Shivalik Sharma who can be useful in terms of team combination.

Rohit Sharma to play as a pure batter for MI

It will be the first instance of Rohit not leading MI in more than 10 years and playing purely as a batter. The fans cannot help but think of it as a weird feeling. With Hardik Pandya at the helm of things, MI will see a new era and Rohit will be helping MI achieve the transition period. Fans would be hoping for the team to win its 6th trophy.

MI seem to have covered all the bases in their squad for 2024. They lacked quality bowlers the last time they played, which cost them the tournament, despite having a fantastic batting lineup. This time around, MI have got a very good bowling attack to assist Jasprit Bumrah. They might well start the season as one of the favourites to win, which might not be good news for other teams.
