Talking about the match, UAE won the toss and elected to field first and the decision proved right initially as they got the wicket of Chad Bowes in the very first ball of the innings. However, opener Tim Seifert went all guns blazing and smashed a magnificent half-century.

He scored 55 runs off just 34 balls which included 2 fours and 3 sixes. But no other batters from the middle order were able to contribute anything to the scoreboard. However, lower-middle order batters James Neesham, Cole McConchie and Rachin Ravindra contributed some crucial runs in the end and helped the team to achieve a total of 155 runs.

Brilliant bowling performance by New Zealand

UAE bowlers were brilliant with the ball as they managed to restrict the Blackcaps on a chasable target. Coming to bat, UAE also had a horrible start as they lost their 2 wickets on the score of just 15 runs. UAE opener Aryansh Sharma played a brilliant knock of 60 runs which included 9 fours and 1 six.

However, apart from Aryansh, there were no other batters who could score big. New Zealand skipper Tim Southee himself led from the front and picked up a magnificent fifer to help his team to achieve a 19-run victory. He was also named Player of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance.
