Former India skipper Virat Kohli is one of the most famous athletes across the globe, even in countries where cricket is not played. Football is the most played sport across the globe as it is accessible to most people in the world. Kohli is even more popular on social media than legendary Basketball player Lebron James and footballers Neymar Jr, Kylian Mbappe, and David Beckham among others.

In a video uploaded by American YouTuber IShowSpeed showed the image of Kohli to Ronaldo Nazario and the latter recognized the former India skipper. The YouTuber even mentioned that Kohli is better than former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. Nazario is the two-time FIFA World Cup winner for Brazil.

The former Brazil player is the third-highest goal scorer for his country having netted the ball 62 times in 98 matches. He won his FIFA World Cup in 1994 playing at the age of just 17. He was further named the Player of the Tournament in the 1998 edition and won the Golden Ball as he helped Brazil reach the final.

Ronaldo also won the 2002 World Cup finishing as the top scorer of the tournament and was awarded the coveted Golden Boot. The 47-year-old also has two Copa America titles to his name having won the tournament in 1997 and 1999 respectively.

Virat Kohli makes his comeback in T20I cricket

Meanwhile, the former India skipper has made his comeback in the shortest format of the game alongside Rohit Sharma. They last played in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinal against England.
