WATCH: Heavy rains erupt ahead of much-awaited India-Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2023
A few hours ahead of the India-Pakistan game in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, rain has once again arrived at the Pallekele. In the last few days, Kandy and Pallekele, cities that are only 40 kilometers away from each other have been witnessing heavy rains in the last few days. This has led to fans from India and Pakistan getting scared of the washout.
Meanwhile, ahead of the game, it has started again in Pallekele. A freelancer journalist has shared a video of heavy rain in the city a few hours ahead of the game. The fans will be hoping for the game to happen full-fledgedly. However, as per AccuWeather, it will rain twice during the day and the rest of the day will be cloudy.

Pakistan Cricket Board issues ticket refund policy for Asia Cup 2023
As the game is threatened by rain, PCB, which is hosting the tournament has issued a refund policy for fans. The fans will get a refund only when the match is canceled ahead of the toss, abandoned ahead of the toss due to rain shifted to another venue (if a fan can’t attend to the different venue).
On the other hand, fans won’t get any refund if the game is abandoned after the toss, canceled due to bad weather, or played on another day.

On the other hand, Pakistan has announced their playing XI ahead of the game. The same players played against Nepal in the opener and thrashed the debutants by 238 runs.
