On Monday, Al-Nassr clashed against Persepolis in the Asian Champions League match. Meanwhile, during the match, an incident took place of which fans are talking about a lot on the internet. The match ended 0-0 but there was an opportunity for Ronaldo to break the deadlock as he won a penalty.

But in a surprising turn of events, Ronaldo refused to take the penalty. He himself went towards the Chinese referee Ma Ning and argued with him. What Leo has done, I have not seen anyone do: Ferran Torres

Al-Nassr ended up as Group E winner in the tournament and are now advanced to the knockout stages, that too without getting beaten once. Al-Nassr are in sublime form as they have won 18 matches from the last 19 matches. It won’t be wrong to say that they are the top contenders to win the tournament.

Ronaldo is often compared with Argentine football star Lionel Messi and there is always a debate going on between both fans on social media which sometimes even gets vulgar. Meanwhile, Barcelona star footballer Ferran Torres recently talked about both iconic footballers and said that Ronaldo deserves a lot of credit for competing with Messi.

“I think Leo [is the best in history]. What Leo [Lionel Messi] has done, I have not seen anyone do. I haven’t seen Maradona or Pelé, there was even Ronaldinho when I was very young, but Messi, to be there for 20 years, every year scoring 50 goals and 50 assists is crazy.”
