Aryan Khan became infamous due to an alleged drug case

Meanwhile, talking about Aryan Khan, he came into the limelight due to an alleged drug case. He was arrested for possession of drugs by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). In October 2021, he was arrested and the case continued for seven months. After the specified period, he was given bail on account of lack of evidence.

“They are some young kids. In many countries these substances are legal. Let us not penalise in bail. Let us not make it worse for them. They have suffered enough, they have learnt their lesson, if at all. They are not peddlers, racketeers or traffickers,” Desai told Times Of India on October 13, 2021.

Senior lawyers such as Satish Satish Maneshinde, Amit Desai, and Mukul Rohatgi were roped in to fight the legal battle. “They are some young kids. In many countries these substances are legal. Let us not penalise in bail. Let us not make it worse for them. They have suffered enough, they have learnt their lesson, if at all. They are not peddlers, racketeers or traffickers,” Desai told Times Of India on October 13, 2021.

“I’m relieved, and so must my clients be, including Shah Rukh Khan. The truth has prevailed. Ultimately, there was no material to charge this young man (Aryan Khan) or arrest him. He was not found with any drugs and I had clearly indicated to the court that the arrest was completely meaningless,” Rohatgi was quoted as saying by NDTV.
