WATCH: Amitabh Bachchan’s emotional speech as he bids adieu to KBC 15
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan bid adieu to the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati as the season came to an end on December 30. During his farewell speech, the former Lok Sabha Member was teary-eyed and emotional as another season of the game show has come to an end.
In a video shared by Sony TV’s Instagram handle, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Devi aur sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai (Ladies and gentleman, now it’s time to go as the stage won’t be the same. It’s difficult to let everyone know that we won’t be returning here from tomorrow).”

Talking about the game show, every contestant is finalized among the five every day via the fastest finger first. The person who answers the question asked in the ‘knockout contest’ gets the opportunity to play the game. In the game, a total of 15 questions are asked worth 7 crores in total. Only a few people have won the highest person in the history of the game.
Meanwhile, the ‘Don’ star has been hosting the show since its inception in 2000. Notably, it is inspired by ‘Who Will Become a Millionaire’ from the United States. Only in 2006, Shah Rukh Khan replaced Bachchan but the former wasn’t received well by the fans. Since then, the 81-year-old is still the host of the show. The next season will be release next year and the veteran actor is expected to remain the host
