Vivek Oberoi’s enigmatic remark leaves fans guessing about his past relationship with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Bollywood veteran actor Vivek Oberoi made a statement that has sent the rumours surfacing on social media. The actor, known for his roles in both Indian and international films, said something that later started getting linked with her ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on social media.
Vivek and Aishwarya’s history goes back to the early 2000s when they briefly dated. Their relationship was a subject of much media attention, and it eventually ended on a sour note. Since then, both actors have moved on, with Aishwarya marrying Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek finding happiness in his personal and professional life.
However, the statement made by Oberoi has left fans and the media speculating about its true meaning. Some believe it could be a subtle reference to the past, while others think it might be unrelated and taken out of context. “Wouldn’t commit and leave,” This cryptic remark has left many wondering if it’s an indirect reference to his past with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
“I am an all-or-nothing guy. I love with all my heart, but people like me get hurt. And when I was hurt, it was very difficult. The path that many such people take after getting hurt is that they try not to be who they are and be superficial. It was amazing in the beginning; you brought out your best flirtatious self, and I was playing the field. It was a big ego kick. But I was never dishonest. I wouldn’t commit to somebody and leave. I would be straightforward and tell them I am not looking for anything serious.” Vivek was quoted as saying by Filmibeat.
I stayed friends with a lot of my casual girlfriends: Vivek Oberoi
It’s important to note that Vivek Oberoi did not explicitly mention Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in his statement. However, the connection between the two actors and their history has led to widespread curiosity about his intentions. Interestingly, one of the reasons behind Aishwarya and Vivek’s separation was Salman Khan. Many also believe that he is the one who destroyed Vivek’s career in the film industry.
As with any cryptic statement, it’s open to interpretation, and fans will likely continue to speculate about its true meaning in the coming days. Meanwhile, Vivek also talked about his multiple relationships which he had in his past and said that he is still friends with some of his ex-girlfriends.
“I stayed friends with a lot of my casual girlfriends, and a lot of them even came to my wedding. I remember Goa 2009. It was December 31. I just met this international model. It was four days of a non-committal relationship, but one day, after partying a lot, I woke up and couldn’t remember her name. It scared me. I went to the bench, and I felt so alone and empty. And I was like, I am done with this. I went back to the girl and said, ‘I am done.’ I had to make space for something real. I wanted to detox.” he said.
