Virat Kohli has reacted to the wish of Novak Djokovic to meet him. The star Tennis player recently claimed that he wishes to meet Kohli. Speaking about the star cricketer, the Serbian had claimed that he has interacted a lot with Kohli on messages and never been able to meet. The world number one expressed his wish to meet the Indian cricketer one day.

It is good to note that Virat has praised the 36-year-old for his fitness and performances in Tennis in the past. When Novak won the record Grand Slam title, Kohli took to Instagram and congratulated the great Tennis player. Kohli has always been a fan of all the big 3 players of Tennis like Novak, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal. He has shown his admiration for all of them.

Kohli took a leave for the first T20I against Afghanistan due to personal reasons. He joined the Indian squad for the rest of the series. The second match of the series will be at Indore and Kohli is likely to bat at 3 for India in the match. it will be his first T20I match for India in more than 14 months. Fans are excited about the comeback of the star batter in T20Is.

Ahead of his comeback, Kohli appeared in a small interview on the Indian cricket board. In the interaction, the 35-year-old was asked about the statement of Novak. The star batter revealed how he has known the Serbian star over the years. Kohli claimed that he saw the profile of Novak Djokovic on Instagram and pressed the message button in an organic way.

Kohli added that he saw the message of Novak already on his DM. The right-handed batter concluded that was how the two started to talk with each other. “When I saw Novak Djokovic’s profile on Instagram, and I pressed the message button organically – then I saw his message already on my DM since then we started talking to each other and sending wishes,” said the Indian batter.
