Uunchai, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa is all set to release on 11th November 2022.

After a seven-year absence, director Sooraj Barjatya is returning to amuse moviegoers with his latest feature Uunchai. The movie will be released on November 11, 2022, and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Parineeti Chopra, Nafisa Ali, and Danny Denzongpa. On Tuesday, the movie’s first trailer, which praises friendship, was released.

We first meet four buddies in the trailer, who are portrayed by Bachchan, Kher, Denzongpa, and Irani. Bhupen, played by Denzongpa, has only one lifelong ambition: to scale Everest. But he passes away before he can achieve his ambition. No matter how many storms they must endure, his bereaved companions decide to carry out his final desire and spread his ashes atop Everest.

The group travels to the Everest base camp despite their advanced age and health problems. We also catch a glimpse of the three female characters, Parineeti, Neena, and Sarika, who don’t seem to have much of a role in this story of four friends, and the tagline of the movie is “Friendship was their motivation.”

Makers began shooting for Uunchai in October 2021 in Nepal. They wrapped up the shoot in April 2022.
