Twitch as a platform has also faced some difficulties in the past. Last month, the CEO stated that the platform is not profitable. Although, it is hard to believe that an increase in sub cost for few counters will resolve their situation.

What are Twitch subs?

A subscription on Twitch is a way to help the content creator financially. Unlike YouTube subscribe, Twitch subs cost money on a monthly basis. It is similar to the join option on YouTube. In some countries, people can also use their Amazon Prime free monthly Twitch sub.

There are multiple tiers people can subscribe to if they wish to support the platform and the streamer. Regardless of how a person subscribes, it goes to the website and the streamer.
