Bollywood veteran actor Kajol recently made headlines in her recently released Netflix series Lust Stories 2, in which she appeared in a completely different avatar. Kajol had some bold scenes with Kumud Mishra in the series. Now the actress is in the limelight for her debut web series The Trial in which the actor plays Nayonika Sengupta, a lawyer.

Meanwhile, a video of the actress is going viral on social media, in which she, as a lawyer promotes her upcoming series. She also asked Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a question which is now being discussed everywhere. Her question has given rise to a new controversy. She asked Shah Rukh about the real box office collection of his mega-blockbuster movie Pathaan which was released earlier this year. 

Shah Rukh’s comeback film Pathaan became one of the biggest blockbuster films of Bollywood. The film created history with its box office collection, crossing the worldwide collection of more than INR 1000 crore. But, now after listening to Kajol’s question, users say that there is something is not right with the report.

Kajol’s statement sparked a controversy

While discussions have already been seen on social media regarding the box office collection of the films, Kajol’s statement about it has fueled the rumours. In conversation with Live Hindustan, The Trial star was asked to reveal the question she wanted to ask Shah Rukh. The actress replied with a laugh, “Real collection of Pathaan“. This video of Kajol has caught the attention of many people. Although it is clear that she was joking, some people misunderstood her joke and assumed that she was questioning the credibility of the box office collection.

For the past three decades, Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, two legendary performers from Bollywood, have worked together on a number of classic films. The pair has captivated audiences with their chemistry in a total of seven films, starting with their first collaboration, “Baazigar,” which debuted on screens 30 years ago, and continuing with the most recent release, “Dilwale” (2015).
