Thomas Tuchel to move to Bayern Munich?

Rumours are swirling around the sacked Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

As per some sources in the German media, Tuchel is being considered for the top job as a replacement for Julian Nagelsmann.

The German champions have endured a wretched run of form that sees them go into the international break fifth in the Bundesliga table, five points off the top.

Shockingly, Julian Nagelsmann’s side have only 12 points after seven games played, which is unacceptable to many fans.

The crisis reached a flashpoint when they fell to a shock defeat at FC Augsburg over the weekend.

It’s now three games without a win for Bayern who went through consecutive draws before the loss.

No wonder, Germany’s leading football publication BILD had a headline: “Nagelsmann now has a problem: Tuchel.”

On the surface, Bayern still remain supportive of Nagelsmann but Tuchel’s availability gives them an option if results don’t improve.

Interestingly, the Bayern president, Herber Hainer has dismissed these rumours by publicly backing the former RB Leipzig boss.

Herber Hainer said, “We are completely convinced of Julian Nagelsmann and our whole team. After the international break we will go all out again, as you know FC Bayern”.
